Baldy : This is Mount Baldy (Mt San Antonio), the highest peak in the San Gabriel range in southern California.  Here I spent one beautiful year, my spiritual retreat close to the heart of my mother mountain, Lady Baldy.  My friend Dorothy used to say no one who loves and lives with Mt. Baldy ever really leaves.  They take a piece of her in their hearts.  Indeed, I carry a small piece of her with me always.
